Christmas is merry and BRIGHT here in the Ozarks. Each year, residents and businesses alike show their holiday spirit with amazing Christmas light displays. If you’re looking to go for a drive and admire some beautiful holiday lights, check out this list of Christmas light displays in the Ozarks before you head out the door.
Bolivar
Bolivar has several light displays around town, but these are two you don’t want to miss.
Dickson Christmas Wonderland
The Dicksons outdo themselves every year with their custom holiday display. Last year, their front yard featured Santa, the Grinch, a dinosaur, and a homemade singing display! Tune your radio to their station to watch the lights dance to the music. The songs play in random order making each night a unique show. You’ll have to stop by to see what new ideas they’ve come up with this year! Open from 5 pm-10 pm.

Light the Park
Every year businesses and organizations from the Bolivar area come together to light up Dunnegan Park with custom displays! Drive the loop to see all of the amazing lights and make a donation to a featured non-profit. Beautiful lights for a good cause!

Marionville
The Dudas have been decking the halls with their light display since 2003. Last year, Bob Duda counted over 200,000 lights, all of which are set to a 45 minute music program. Last year they featured a new photo-op sleigh, perfect for selfies. Stop by between 5 pm-10 pm on weekdays and 5 pm-11pm on weekends.

Springfield
Springfield’s holiday light displays never disappoint. They’ve got quite the variety from parks to houses to businesses.
Finley River Park
Located just south of Springfield in Ozark, Finley River Park offers a free community display. The display will run through December 30th, 5–10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday; 5–11 p.m. Friday–Saturday. Donations are accepted to keep the tradition going.
Bass Pro Shops
You can’t miss Bass Pro’s stunning lights when you drive by! If you have a minute, wander around inside and marvel at the outdoorsy arrangements and snap a photo with Santa. A wonderful Christmas pitstop!
Jordan Valley Park
Don’t miss Jordan Valley Park’s Festival of Lights exhibition put on by several of Springfield’s community stakeholders. Afterwards, check out the Christmas cheer downtown and make a lap around the square.
The Bagwell Lights
This year the center tree in the Bagwell light display has twice the lights, is 6 feet taller, and has twice the graphics! Mike Bagwell builds on his display a little each year and plans to add a custom-made Bethlehem star by mid-December. Drive on by, set your radio to 105.5 FM, and enjoy the show! The lights run from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, until 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. On Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, hours are 5 p.m. to midnight.

Branson
Last, but certainly not least, the city of Branson offers Christmas lights GALORE!
Silver Dollar City
If you’ve never experienced SDC at Christmas time, it is absolutely worth the trip! The park is decked out with over 6.5 million lights including the awe-inspiring Christmas In Midtown® Light Spectacular. SDC is proud to introduce their brand new, 8 story Christmas tree – the centerpiece to the new JOY ON TOWN SQUARE. If you stay for awhile you can enjoy the nightly light parade featuring Rudolph™ The Red-Nosed Reindeer! This Christmas display brings fun for the whole family!
Let There Be Lights Drive Thru Christmas Display
This two mile lighted drive thru features Santa, real reindeer, a living nativity, and gift shop. You can take a ride on Santa’s Safari or grab some cocoa and watch the Dancing Trees. Open 5-11pm.
