✳️ Meet Chelsi…

Hometown: Stockton, MO

Years of Real Estate Experience: 8 Years

Experience & Professional Background

Before earning my real estate license, I spent nearly a decade as a Territory Manager for a large distribution company. During that time, I quickly learned the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers to drive success. However, after almost 10 years of traveling for work, I realized I wanted a career that would allow me to be home more with my family and fully participate in my boys’ lives. I wanted a career with a schedule that would let me be present at every event, game, and milestone.

Real estate had always intrigued me, and when the opportunity to join this amazing company and dynamic team presented itself, I didn’t hesitate. Since starting my real estate career, I’ve been incredibly grateful to have a job I love while also being fully present for my husband and sons. I continued my real estate education, obtaining my Broker’s License in 2020, and I’ve been fortunate to be a million-dollar producer ever since starting this journey. One year, I achieved a personal milestone of being a 5.9 million-dollar producer – a goal that was made possible with the support of my husband, the best real estate team, and the incredible clients I’ve had the privilege of working with.

Personal Story & Interests

Outside of work, I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast! If I’m not working or on the sidelines at a ball field, you can usually find me hunting, fishing, or spending time on our small farm with my husband and sons. We’re a competitive bunch, so our outdoor activities can get pretty exciting! I love wandering around our farm, whether it’s walking our two bird dogs, mushroom hunting, or shed hunting.

I’m incredibly lucky to have met my husband in high school. Yes, it’s a cliché, but I truly married my best friend, and I can’t imagine my world without him. We were married in 2011 and have since been blessed with two wonderful sons. Jax and Mason are our entire world – they keep us on our toes and very busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. They’re the reason we work hard, love harder, and cherish every moment of our busy, wonderful lives.

As our boys get older, we spend even more time at the ball fields. Jax, our oldest, is 11 and keeps us busy with basketball, football, and our favorite, travel baseball. He plays for a team in Bolivar and has made some great friends and connections that we hope will last a lifetime. Mason, our 7-year-old, is also starting to fall in love with sports, but he’s also a huge fan of Lego’s and mental challenges. If you can’t solve a Rubik’s cube, just hand it to Mason – he’ll have it solved in no time!

✳️ A Memorable Moment in Real Estate

Selling real estate is always an adventure, and there’s never a dull moment. One of my favorite stories happened while I was out taking pictures of a beautiful 10-acre property on a gorgeous day. I left the back hatch of my SUV open while I was walking the land and snapping photos. When I returned to my car, I was greeted by the sweetest surprise – a cute yellow lab sitting comfortably in my driver’s seat! Naturally, I was a bit shocked and hesitant to get too close at first. Thankfully, he was a super sweet dog, but he had no intention of leaving my car. After a bit of persistence, I managed to track down the owners, who came to retrieve him. He was convinced he was going home with me at first!

✳️ Insight from Chelsi

  • If you could only give people one tip about BUYING a home, what would your advice be?

Buying a home is a big decision with many factors to consider. I always tell my clients to start by understanding their budget. Get pre-approved and factor in all the costs involved in purchasing your first or next home. Then, think about your long-term goals – how long do you plan to stay? Are you planning to grow your family? What about a potential job change?

Do your research on neighborhoods to ensure the area is a good fit for where you want to settle. It’s also important to prioritize your “must-haves” to make house-hunting easier. And don’t forget to think about resale value, especially if you’re not planning on making this your forever home.

Lastly, always get an inspection, even on a new build. It’s never a waste of money! And, of course, be sure to work with a good realtor! Don’t worry, I have you covered on that one… 😉
  • If you could only give people one tip about SELLING a home, what would your advice be?

Selling your home can feel like a daunting task, but that’s where we, as listing agents, come in. We’ll guide you through every step of the process. The best advice I always give my sellers is to start with the right price. We need to know the current market and price your home accordingly.

Along with proper pricing, effective marketing is key. Enhancing your curb appeal is always a great idea, as it’s the first impression buyers will have when they step onto your property. Be honest about any issues – disclose them upfront so we can address potential repairs and build trust with buyers.

Lastly, one of the most important pieces of advice is to remain flexible with showings. Buyers have varying schedules, so being accommodating when they want to view your home can make all the difference.
  • What is one thing you always take note of when looking at a new listing?

When viewing a new listing, one of the first things I suggest buyers consider is the layout and flow of the space. The overall layout reveals a lot about how practical the home will be for your family and lifestyle. Features like open-concept areas or separate dining and living spaces can make a significant difference, depending on your needs.
  • How would you define success” in your job?

I define success in my career by the smiles on my clients’ faces when we leave the closing table! Seeing their excitement about their new home or the successful sale of their property is the best feeling! Another way I measure success is through repeat clients. When clients trust and remain loyal to you, that’s a huge WIN in my book!

✳️ Why I Love Calling the Ozarks Home

The area I work in is truly one of God’s best-kept secrets. The small towns I serve are amazing – full of kind, welcoming people and surrounded by natural beauty. Communities like Stockton and Bolivar host fun events year-round, providing great opportunities to meet new people, connect with other business owners, and engage with the local community.
