Kelly’s Story
Inspiration from her mother, Jacquetta Hensley, sparked a passion within Kelly to pursue a career in real estate. She got to witness her mother’s love for real estate and couldn’t resist giving it a try. She made the move to get her license and couldn’t be happier with her decision. Kelly says, “I truly LOVE what I do!” So far, Kelly’s favorite part of this four-year journey in real estate has been the moments when she gets to hand the keys to a new home over to happy clients. It doesn’t get much better than that! From her innovative ideas to her attention to detail and passion for helping others, she is one of the very best to have in your corner – whether buying or selling!
Real estate isn’t the only love in Kelly’s life. She has been married to her best friend, Josh, for 16 years. The couple has three beautiful daughters: Kyndell (13), Kamryn (13), and Kynlee (8), and they are always on the go! According to Kelly, this family loves all things hunting, hiking, and sports. Josh and Kelly are their daughter’s number one fans, no matter which sport is in season!
Blooper Moment
Kelly shares, “Early in my career I was showing some very important clients some properties. We had been looking at land off the beaten path all day long, it was late afternoon, and I needed to buy them lunch. He expected caviar but my ONLY option was a gas station in Fair Play, so I ordered us pizza. To this very day he is still a client and says it’s the best pizza he’s ever had. Also, to this day it is the best pizza I ever bought!”

If you could only share one tip about BUYING a home, what would your advice be?
Be patient; it’s a process! Unforeseen things will likely come up, but there are very few instances where those things cannot be worked through. Relax and trust in ME!
If you could only share one tip about SELLING a home, what would your advice be?
We have found that selling a home is often emotional and very personal. Be sure you are 100% ready to sell when you list your home.
How would you define a successful home sale?
A successful home sale would involve both parties of the transaction walking away happy and satisfied with the work I did. The best compliment is a “REFERRAL”!
